Białka kayaking workshops include a total of 8 hours of classes on the water divided into 3 blocks; Rescue and Water Safety, Practicing Technical Elements, Driving on the river and taking the right line. During this training, we will provide you with a lot of valuable knowledge, thanks to which you will gain more experience, self-confidence in swimming and learn new elements. In order to achieve the greatest possible progress, we will perform a video analysis of the most important errors.

For whom

For people looking for professional training on a river on the scale of WWIII, with Eskimo skills or a mastered bow (if Eskimo doesn't always turn out well). For people who have the skills of traversing, promoting, catching the backwater, leaving the backwater, props, and heeling on a river on a WWII scale.

Trip plan

  • SundayDay I

    9:00: Meeting in Jurgów
    9:30: Warm-up
    10:00-11:00: Rescue and Water Safety - we will remind and practice the basic elements of rescue and self-rescue, using various safety equipment.
    11:00-13:00: Practicing technical elements in this block, we will pay attention to your technique and catch all the smallest mistakes. We will do a lot of exercises of various elements on individual sections of the river.

  • SaturdayDay II

    9:00: Meeting in Jurgów
    9:30: Warm-up
    10:00-13:00: Leading on the river and taking the right line. We will make two trips, during which the course participant will choose the line himself and lead the group, stopping at appropriate places and communicating with the group.

FAQ

    Do I have to be in very good shape and be athletic?

    You just need to be in good physical condition and generally be a fit person. You definitely need to take thermally active clothes and underwear, you will receive special equipment on site, i.e. neoprene wetsuit, waterproof jacket, helmet and life jacket. People without kayaking experience can take extra bicycle or gym gloves to avoid painful blisters.

Things to remember

  • Thermal clothing, waterproof shoes, preferably neoprene with a solid sole, or other shoes that can be wetted with a solid sole. A towel, underwear, an energy bar, water, gloves (for people who never or rarely row) can be taken for cycling or the gym.
